al Govierno de Proporcionar algun tiempo - [Al de?] S.S. 
ofic.s del Rex.to [Regimiento] del Cargo de V. q.e [que] por recargados 
de familias y demas intereces Particulares, necesitan 
de este  [?] Para ha reglar sus hasuntos, 
con, cluyendo [incluyendo?] dho [dicho] oficio Con una Prevencion  
hoportuna; Esta misma devo repetir. en bista [vista] de que 
solicitan. Permiso para permanecer por un año  
por seis meses. o por quatro. nueve capitanes 
tres tenientes. nueve Sub.tes dos cadetes. y uno

Description	This copy of an ordinance was issued by the Marquis de Casa Calvo and signed by Francisco Collell and John Joseph Cruzat, captains of the Regiment Infantry of Louisiana. The document requests permission for leave for several regiment officials at a military post following the handing over of that province to the French. The document includes how many officials wish to take leave, when the regiment would embark, the amount of cargo to be taken, and a request for ten thousand pesos. The Marquis de Casa Calvo was a Spanish brigadier general who served as ad interim governor of Spanish Louisiana, Sept. 18, 1799-July 14, 1801.
