Certifico que fueron verificados lindados y amojonados,
a favor, de don Juan De Lassize, Quarenta
Mil arpanes planos de tierra, medida a percha
de la Cuidad [ciudad] de Paris, de dies y ocho pies de Roy [Rey]
lineales de la misma Cuidad [ciudad], contando Cien
perchas planas por arpan plano. Segun Costumbre
agragria en esta provincia. Dichos Quarenta
mil arpanes, medidos, en Cinco divisiones, o,
planos, separados en la forma que sa [esta] explicado

y ocho arpanes planos. situados sobre
el margen izquierdo del Rio Tanchipaho.

y uno grados de latitudo norte, a la parte

noventa y seis arpanes planos, situado
sobre el margen izquierdo del mismo Rio

linea de limite de estos dominios de S.M. con
los Estados unidos de America. lindado a la parte
del norte, con un terreno ocupado por el nombrado
H Ianes, al sur. y este con tierras vacantes.

I certify that they were verified the borders and boundaries
marked, in favor of, Don Juan De Lassize, Forty
Thousand flat "arpanes" of land, measured by perch
of the City of Paris, of eighteen linear King's feet
of the same City, counting one hundred
flat perches for every flat "arpan". According to the agrarian
custom of this Province. The said Forty
thousand "arpanes", measured, in Five divisions, or,
plans, separated in the manner that is explained

No. 1 - Plan number 1. six thousand eight hundred eighty-eight
flat "arpanes". situated on
the left margin of the Tangipahoa
River, close to the boundary lines that
separate the territories of S. M. from that of
the United States of America, bordered on the
northern part, with the line of thirty-one
degrees of north latitude, at the southern
part, with land occupied by the renowned [B
Linier?], to the East with vacant land, and to the west
with the very same River Tangipahoa
