LSU Medical School to Award 88 Degrees

              LSU Medical School
to award 88 degrees
Degrees will be awarded to 88 stu-dents
of LSU School of Medicine in
Shreveport during commencement ex-ercises
at 10 a.m. May 30 in the Civic
Theater on the riverfront.
Dr. Benjamin M. Rush of Harmon, a
clinical professor of surgery at the
medical school, will be the commence-ment
speaker. His topic will be "The
Oath."
The School of Medicine will confer 86
degrees and the School of Allied Health
Professions will confer two master's
degrees in communication disorders.
Irma Dillard Rogers and Cynthia
Nelson Sheffield, both of Shreveport,
will receive the Allied Health degrees.
