Medical Society Plans State Meet

plans state meet
Physicians from throughout the
state will converge on Shreveport next
month for the Louisiana State Medical
Society's 1983 annual meeting, March
10-13.
Nearly 300 physicians are expected,
said LSMS headquarters in New Or-leans.
A Shreveport internist, Dr. Sam
Gill, will be installed as the society's
1983 president during the convention.
He will succeed Dr. Eugene Worthen,
Monroe plastic surgeon, who will con-vene
this year's meeting.
House of Delegates sessions will be
held in Expo Hall on the riverfront.
Delegates will start registering
March 10, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Best
Western Regency Motor Hotel. There-after,
they will register at Expo Hall.
The Shreveport Medical Society
will be host for a Country and Western
Hoedown at the Shreveport Country
Club while they are here.
