The Louisiana State Universi-ty
financial affairs office has
recommended a $6.73 million
budget for Louisiana State Uni-versity
- Shreveport and the
LSU Medical School in Shreve-port,
according to an Associated
Press report from Baton Rouge.
The office recommended $4.75
million for the medical school in
Related Story on Page 4-A
Shreveport and $1.98 million for
LSU-Shreveport.
Included in the recommended
budgets are increases of $1.82
million for the medical school
and $276,347 for LSU-Shreveport.
Also r e c o m m e n d e d for
Shreveport was a f i v e - y e a r
capital outlay prediction of $6.4
million, made by the LSU board
of s u p e r v i s o r s sitting as a
committee of the whole.
The $6.73 million budget for
Shreveport is part of a record
1107.59 million budget proposal
recommended for the LSU sys-em
Friday.
