Medical School Plans Speakers
Two lecturers will speak to Medicine department of
students of the Louisiana microbiology and immunology
State University School of in separate sessions today
and Thursday.
Dr. Charles T. Caraway,
state epidemiologist, will
speak to the class at 9 a.m.
today on seventh floor of the
VA Hospital. He will discuss
"Epidemiology," and
describe some recent disease
investigations and problems.
Dr. Sarah M. Braud, direc-tor
of the LaFourche Parish
Health Unit, will speak on
"Community Medicine" at 11
a.m. Thursday.. She will
outline the duties of a direc-tor,
services of a health unit
and importance of health
units.
