101 to receive Med School
degrees in Saturday rites
Graduation ceremonies for the three pro-fessional
schools of the LSU Medical Center will
be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Shreveport Civic
Theater.
Keynote speaker for the commencement ex-ercises
will be Dr. Adrian Reed, Emeritus pro-fessor
of anatomy, and former head of the Depart-ment
of Anatomy in the School of Medicine.
There are 101 candidates for degrees —96 in the
School of Medicine, three in the School of Gradu-ate
Studies and two in the School of Allied Health
Professions.
