In compliance with ~etter, Headquarters NATOUSA, File No. 314.7,
(SSDCS), subject: Historical Records and Administrative History, dated 23
May 1944, the following report for the month of MaY.~945 is submitted:

a . Administrative
(1) Lt Col Floyd L. McCollum, Executive Officer, left on 2
May on temporary duty in Naples for eight (8) days.
_,;:· ·(2) On the 3 May, three (3) former members of the Medical De- y mitted to the hospital as battle casualties; they were: Privates Finn, Rish-tachment
who had been reassigned to combat training last November, were ad-ty
and Wald, all former medical technicians.
(3) On the 3 May, T/5 Inscore and Pfc Chibilek were transferred
to the 27th Replacement Depot, for trans-shipment to the United States for 45
days under the US temporary duty policy. They were the lpst personnel to be
returned to the states before rotation ~~d temporary duty were suspended~
(4) One enlisted man, S/Sgt Albert Sherman, of the medical sup-ply
personnel, was sent to the packing school in Naples on 3 May.
