Marriages - 64th General Hospital
(2) Sunday. 7 April. the first marriage performed on the Post was
celebrated by Chaplain Farrell in the unit Chapel. Lt Etta
Lirette. ANC. was married to a former member of the Medical
Detachment, Private Louis Kocotis. A private reception was
held at a local villa for friends of the newleyweds.
(15) On Saturday. 21 April, Lt Charlotte B. Curtis. Physical Therapist.
was married to a British Captain. The ceremony was performed
by a British Chaplain in the unit Chapel and was the second
marriage to take place on the post during the month of April.

(14) Pm 29 May. Dan Cupid was still at it! 1st Lt Luda L. Toups and
1st Lt George R. Graeff, The ceremony was performed in the post
Chapel and Chaplain Farrell officiated 0 After the ceremony. a
reception for officers and nurses was held in the officer's club.

(2) The boom in marriages among the personnel of the unit continued when.
2 June. 1st Lt Miriam V o Caldwell, ANC. was joined in holy matrimony
to S/Sgt Jesse K. Williams. of the 300th General Hospital. in the unit
Chapel. Chaplain Barrons. formerly of the 81st Station Hospital and
now a member of this unit, officiated at this ceremony. (21 July 1945)
The marriage of 1st Lt Charles E. Leon. CE. of this organization and 1st
Lt Geraldine E. Parker. ANC. of the 33d General Hospital took place
3 August 1945 0 The marriage was performed in the Chapel at the
33d General Hospital followed by a reception attended by friends.
