| Facilitator Log | 0:05 Ronald met his future wife, Janine, during a family trip. He asked her out that night and there happened to be a meteor shower that same night. 5:40 They dated for some time but he thought he was in love with somebody else and broke up with her. She was furious, threw his ring away and left. Later, they reunited and decided to get married. 12:20 Ronald was in the delivery room the day Isabel was born. 18:44 The couple had separated when one night, Janine came to him to tell him she felt sick and asked him to come home. The doctor said she had tuberculosis but that there might be something else going on. Ronald knew it was leukemia. 25:00 Janine faced the decision of whether or not to start chemotherapy again. Ronald remembers her wondering around the house at night trying to make up her mind. 30:30 Janine died in the hospital and Ronald remembers how lonely he felt afterwards. |
