| Facilitator Log | 6:30 In middle school being in Special Ed was alright, but in high school they really segregated you from regular classes and kids. Aaron dropped out in 11th grade. 12:55 Aaron's girl sees a difference in his reading. He wants to get his GED and study a trade. 22:38 Aaron used to look at buildings to orient himself. He couldn't travel by himself because he couldn't read signs. He had to ask people for help often. 24:46 He had to ask someone to help him sign an application. Sometimes you don't have time to be embarrassed. 30:25 He is dreaming of success and happiness. He's excited to see his kids growing up differently than he did. 37:05 Aaron wants to read books about MLK and learn more about history and add knowledge to his life. |
