| Facilitator Log | 1:06 MS, GG and HR tell the story of how Project Gulf Impact came to be. It all started with a Tweet. They didn't know each other before hand. 10:10 PGI was supposed to be a documentary film project that would last for two weeks. GG tells of their early filming experiences with locals, BP workers, etc. 18:25 S talks about how this issue has not been covered by the media, it has only been covered up by BP and the media. They talk about how they used Youtube to get their videos out. 25:50 They talk about how they had to leave the gulf due to lack of resources. They each talk about their struggles with leaving and how they knew they wanted to return to really help the people they met. 35:22 MS and GG talk about reaching out to activists across the coast and bridging the gap between them through PGI. They talk about starting a non profit and the future of Project Impact as a national organization. |
