| Facilitator Log | 2:19 Dr. Muller came to New Orleans for a position as Assistant Professor a the then University of New Orleans. 8:45 Along with the founder of the museum, they made plans to create the D-Day museum and thought it would take them about four years. It took them ten. 12:50 Dr. Gordon the project was of national significance, and he felt that it was a responsibility they had to their country. 16:00 In 2002 Congress designated the D-Day museum as the National World War II museum, which changed their focus and expanded the scope of what they cover. 22:00 They reopened three months after Hurricane Katrina and this past March they have broken an attendance record. 31:59 Dr. Muller never pictured himself doing the work he does today. |
