About this collection

This selection of political ephemera from the Louisiana Research Collection's extensive ephemera collection spans 1860 to 1920. It covers both local New Orleans elections, statewide Louisiana elections, and a few items relate to presidential elections as they pertained to Louisiana. The items were generally issued around the time of elections, urging voters to support specific candidates and tickets.
