Division quotas will be accepted and organization details completed this week by Community Chest workers in preparation for its October campaign, which will get under way at a citywide open nouse Sunday.
Goal of the 1950 Chest drive is $1,412,500 for local welfare, pius $25,000 for services to the armed forces.

Chest officials said advance gifts to committeemen, under E. V. Benjamin Jr. and Mrs. Hymen L. Cohen, will strive to complete their assignments before the opening of general solicitations next Monday.
Headed by E. M. Rowley, employe groups workers will organize in-plant promotion, in many instances in co-operation with organized labor.
Reginald Kennedy of the labor participating department. Community Chests and Councils of America, was in New Orleans over, the week end in connection with labor co-operation.
Public offices will also organize solictation of employes for the Chest campaign. A quota of $27,-500 was accepted for the federal group by Gen. Harry P Newton, division chairman. Honorary chairman is federal district Judge Herbert ,W. Christenberry. State Employes
A $7500 quota was accepted for the state employes' division by Dr. William W. Frye of the Louisiana State university medical school. Gov. Earl K. Long, honorary chair-man, has written to heads of state offices, expressing hope that the division will go over the top as it did last year.
The city employes' division is headed by Lionel G. Ott, finance commissioner, with Mayor Chep Morrison as honorary chairman. Its quota is $12,000.
