Louisiana State University soon will build a $2,397,000 extension to its medical school here.
The plans have been approved by the LSU Board of Supervisors, Dean William W. Frye said today.
It will add 101,594 square feet to the present 115,00C — almost doubling the capacity of the school, he said.
The expansion was made necessary, he added, by the growing number of medical students.
