The state board of liquidation lias approved appropriation of more than $200,000 in additional funds for the operation of four state charity hospitals, Jesse H.
Bankston, state hospital director, said Thursday.
He announced this at a meeting at Charity hospital here of the state hospital .board. He. said of the funds approved, $100,000 is designated for Lafayette; Charity hospital, $65,000 for Lallie Kemp Charity hospital; $27,000 for Huey P Long Charity hospital and $15,000 for- the Washington-St. Tammany hospital.
