The motion for permanent injunction against the LSU School of Medicine, which was argued before Federal Judge J, Skelly Wright, on last Tuesday, was taken .under advisement with the defendants being given ten days to file any affidavits they desired to submit in opposition to the motion filed by the plaintiff, Daryle E. Foister, according to her attorney A. P. Tureaud.
On Oct. 8, Miss Foister filed her complaint alleging discrimination against her by the LSU School, of Medicine in objecting to her registering as a student. On Oct. 18, 1951, Judge Herbert W. Christenberry, ordered Miss Foister admitted. A temporary injunction was rendered on that date.
