A total of 206 physicians were successful in examinations in medicine and surgery conducted early in June by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Roy B. Harrison, secretary-treasurer, announced Friday.
In addition, 21 physicians were granted certificates to practice medicine and surgery in Louisiana on the basis of reciprocity.
The examination meeting was conducted by Dr. Rhett McMa-hon, Baton Rouge, president; Dr. Charles M. Horton, Franklin, vice-president; Dr. Leon J. Men-ville; New Orleans; Dr. Robert T. Lucas, Shreveport, and Dr. Harrison, of New Orleans.
