Construction work on a $500,000 PWA project that will provide alterations and additional facilities at the medical center building of Louisiana State university is now under way, it is announced by Dr. Rigney D'Aunoy, dean of the medical center.
Improvements will Include extension of the eighth floor to the limits of the other floors, expan-sion of the library department on the second floor by extension of the stack room, rebuilding and tripling the capacity of the animal house, installation of a modern ventilating system, overhauling of the heating system and various minor additions and changes.
