In other business, the board accepted "with regret" the resignation of Mrs. Marion B. Stewart, technical director of the hospital's physical therapy department, effective June 30. Mrs. Stewart has been a member of
the department since its inception in June, 1922.
The board also accepted the resignation of Mrs. Sarah S. Rogers, technical director of the school of physical therapy, effective Nov. 18. Mrs. Rogers has been associated with the school for five years.
Dr. Irving Singer was appointed by the board as temporary director of the hospital's lung station, effective July 15. Dr. Singer will serve in the position until the return from sabbatical leave of Dr. John H. Seabury, director, in January, the board said.
