"Medical Horizons," medical documentary program, will originate from the LSU School of Medicine Sunday and will be carried at 3:30 p. m. over W.JMR-TV.
Topic of the half-hour presentation will be "Infectious Diseases" with emphasis on the latest med-i c a i developments in virus diseases,
LSU faculty members will star in the production, along
with Don Goddard, vet newscaster and narrator, who is the only professional personality seen on the show.
Appearing from the school will be Dr. G. John Buddingh, professor and head of the department of microbiology; Dr. John Seabury, professor of medicine; Dr. Robert Sappenfield, assistant professor of public health and pediatrics; Dr. Robert Womack, clinical professor (urology); Dr. Harry Dascomb, associate professor of medicine, and Dr. William W. Frye, professor of tropical medicine and dean of the medical school
"Medical Horizons" visits a leading medical research center, hospital, clinic or laboratory each week to bring viewers across the country a factual documentary report on the latest developments in modern scientific medicine.
