Mrs. Charles Keller, Jr., chairman of Flint-Goodridge Hospital, has named 80 New Or-, leanians who are sponsoring an expansion and modernization! P r o j e ct which seeks funds; totaling $450,000.
"The enthusiastic willingness of this outstanding group of citizens in sponsoring the important project provides great encouragement for complete success in raising the funds," Mrs. Keller said.
She added that the estimated cost of the proposed modernization and building program is $1 million. However, $500,000 is available in federal funds, on a matching basis. * * ♦
AN ADDITIONAL $50,000 has been received from a Ford Foundation grant and other special funds.
Mrs. Keller said the hospital, built 25 years ago, has never before made a public appeal for capital funds.
