Six physicians have accepted appointment to the professional education committee of the New Orleans Heart Council, a unit of the Louisiana Heart Association.
Dr. George E. Welch, chairman, said the committee members are as follows:
Dr. John Adriani, head of the department of anesthesiology, Charity hosptial; Dr. Oscar
Creech Jr., head of the department, of surgery, Tulane universi ty school of medicine; Dr. Har ry E. Dascomb, associate professor of medicine, Louisiana State university school of medicine; Dr. John T. Leckert; Dr. Louis Levy II, and Dr. Henry C. McGill Jr., associate professor of apthology, LSU school of medicine.
Dr. Welch said the professional education committee offers speakers on the treatment of heart di-
sease to parish medical societies, nurses' groups, and house staffs of hospitals and other physicians' groups.
