Twenty-five physicians and lay persons from Louisiana will attend the annual meeting of the American Heart Association in Philadelphia, Pa., Oct. 23-27.
Dr. Homer J, Dupuy of New Orleans, president of the Louisiana Heart Association, said two original papers would be read by Louisiana researchers. In addition, a third Louisiana scientist will appear on a panel discussion.
Those participating in the scientific sessions will be Dr. Rus-
State university school of medicine; Dr. William D. Love, associate professor of medicine, Tu-lane university school of medicine, and Dr. Floyd R, Skelton, associate professor of pathology, LSU school of medicine.
Nine of those attending will; represent the state in the policy-making assembly. In addition to Dr. Dupuy, they axe Dr, George E. Burch, chairman of the department of medicine, Tulane university school of medicine, and vice-president of the American Heart Association; Dr. Roland Abegg, head of the zoology de-j partment at Louisiana Polytech-i nic Institute.
