A seminar on nursing school curriculum with regard to tuberculosis nursing and public health concepts will be held Friday at ;2p,m, at 2000 Tulane ave.
Theme of the seminar, sponsored by the nursing committee1 of the Tuberculosis Association of Greater New Orleans (TAGNQ), is "Preparing Tomorrow's Nurses/* Mrs. Leona Ginn, R. N., committee chairman, will preside.
Miss Lucie C. M. Schultz, R. N., of the Louisiana State university medical schoo] nursing education department, will present a paper on "What the FourYear School is Teaching,'*
Also presenting a paper on the four-year curriculum will be Mrs. Myrtis Snowden, FL N., of Dillard university's nursing school
"What the Three Year School is Teaching" will be covered by Mrs, Virginia Zee, of the Southern Baptist hospital school of nursing,
Mrs, Ginn, who is also assistant supervisor of the Dibert Memorial Tuberculosis hospital, will speak on "What a New Staff Nurse Needs" and Mrs. Mae Charlton, •R. N., of the Jefferson parish health unit, will speak on "What a Public Health Nurse Needs." .; W. Findley Raymond, TAGNO public information director will moderate the speakers sitting in 5a panel to discuss the educational needs of nurses and how to meet "these needs.
