The United Fund campaign of the New Orleans Area reported Tuesday that a total of $2,608,050, | or 76.7 per cent of the $3.4 million goal, has been collected thus far.
The divisional breakdown of the report follows:
Special gifts groups—Division 1, J, Herbert Williams, chairman,
82.8 per cent of the goal; Div. 2, George J. Mayer, chairman,
80.9 per cent.
Employe group — Div. 4, A. B. Hebeisen, chairman, 75 per cent; Div. 5, Jacques A. Livau-dais, 55.4 per cent; Div. 6, R. D. Sparkman, 83.2 per cent.
Areas group—Div. 7, (Algiers), Osborne K. LeBlanc, chairman, 75.2 per cent; Div. 8, (East Jefferson), 70.7 per cent; Div. 9, St. Bernard), Joseph Q. Cipriano, 121.8 per cent; Div. 10, (West Jefferson), Jim P. Pitts, chairman, 50,2 per cent.
Business group—Div. 11, Paul Ramos, chairman, 47 per cent; Div. 12, John Fuchs Jr., chairman, 59.1 per cent; Div. 13, Joseph Murphy, chairman, 71.1 per cent; Div. 14, Edward J. Martin, chairman, 76.6 per cent; Div. 15, Patrick M. Schott, chairman, 56.3 per cent.
