The annual meeting of the American Gastroenterological Association will be held in the Roosevelt hotel April 1 and 2.
The meeting will be preceded by a postgraduate course in gastroenterology sponsored by the American College of Physicians, March 28-30 at Louisiana State university medical school. It will be directed by Dr. G, Gordon McHardy, clini-;or of medicine ,at LSU.
The annual meeting of the American Gastroseopie Society will be held March 30 at the Roosevelt. ~
The Gastroenterological Research Forum will be held in the hotel March 31 under the sponsorship of the association's research committee.
High lights of the AGA general meeting will include a lecture by Dr. G» Burroughs Mider, associate director of research for the National Cancer Institute, and an address by Dr. H. Marvin Pollard, AGA president, :r
Scientific talks will be given by Dr. Takeo Wada of Sapporo Medical college, Japan, and Drs. Roberts S. Gordon Jr., National Health Institute; Thomas Wald#rman, National Cancer Institute, and Halsted R. Hol-tnan, Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research.
Alfco scheduled is a symposium on "Association of Peptic Ulcerative Disease with Adenomata*'* moderated by Dr. Joseph B. Kirsner, with Drs. Howard M. Spiro, James L. A. Roth, Seymour J. Gray and Robert M. Zollinger participating.
The annual dinner ©f the association will be held on the night of April 1
AGA officers, in addition to Dr. Pollard, are Dr. Hugh R. Butt, Rochester, Minn., president-elect; Dr. Franz P. Ingel-finger, Boston, Mass., vice-president, and Dr. McHardy, treasurer.
