Members of the Louisiana Academy' of General Practice will meet here, for a three-day session beginning Tuesday.
This will be the group's 14th annual scientific assembly. Sessions will be held at the Municipal Auditorium.
Mayor J, Rayburn Bertrand and I^Edgar; Breaiix, president of the Lafayette Parish Medical Society, will welcome the group.
Dr. E. M. Harrell of Lafayette is chairman of the academy.
Dr. J. William Crookshank of Lake Charles, president of the academy, will preside at the first general session Tuesday. Dr. Ernest B. Flake, president-elect, will preside at a general session Wednesday, and Dr. Esmond A. Father of New Orleans at an afternoon session. Dr. Harrell will preside at a final session Thursday.
Academy officers for the coming year will be installed at an annual dinner Wednesday. A pre-convention party was held at the Evangeline hotel Monday night
