Plans are nearing completion for a postgraduate course in urology to be conducted in Shreveport on Wednesday.
The course will be presented at Confederate Memorial Center, under the auspices of the Louisiana State University Medical school. Dr. R K Wo-mack, Shreveport, assistant clinical professor of urology on the post graduate faculty of L.S.U., will preside.
Lecturers will include Dr. Edwin L. Prien, assistant clinical professor of urology, Boston University Medical school, and Dr. Foster Fuqua, Dallas, Tex., associate professor of urology, Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Prien will have as his topic, "Management of Renal Calculi/* Dr. Fuqua's topic will be "Substitute Urinary Bladders/*
Dr. Ike Muslqw, Shreveport, will be the opening speaker at 9:30 a. m. His theme is "Acute Renal Failure/' His talk will be followed by a discussion on "Urinary Tract Infections/ Panel participants will include Drs. B. E. Trichel, H M Yearwood and C M Pasquier Jr., all of Shreveport.
