William M. _Pusateri and Edward R. Drury, New Orleans students at Southeastern Louisiana college in Hammond, have been accepted for entrance onto the Louisiana State university medical school here for the fall term.
The two are among five Southeastern students — the largest number in history of the institution — accepted for the fall term at the medical school, according to Dr, Rivers Y, Nesom, head of Southeastern's department of biological sciences.
Others accepted were Miss Ethel Tycer, Tickfaw; Miss Nancy Purser, Hammond and Joel H. Fitzgerald, Covington.
Pusateri leads the candidates with a 2.8 major average and Miss Tycer has a 2.457 over-all average. All five are zoology majors with high academic averages.
