Wilbert Breaux, administrator of St. Tammany parish hospital here, Friday identified the six new doctors who have been granted active staff voting privileges.
They are Dr. Ronald TIschler, Dr, Phil Demarie, Dr. Roy Gregory, Dr. William Gallagher, Dr. Edwin Haller and Dr. Edward Archibald.
The action was taken at a two-and-a-half-hour meeting of the hospital's operating board Thursday night.
The action of the board gives the new doctors temporary membership on the active staff, with full voting privileges. It was pointed out that permanent membership is subject to their acceptance by the St. Tammany parish medical society and the approval of the full 10-man parish hospital board.
