"Booked for Safekeeping," a film produced by the Louisiana Association for Mental Health, has won two awards in film competition, according to an announcement by association president Z. Wilson Bartlett.
The first award was captured at the International Film Festival in Vancouver, Canada, where the film was chosen winner in the instructional category of documentary productions.
The second award has been! made by the Columbus Film Festival in Ohio. The state association was presented a statuette for producing the best | film in the festival's health-] mental health section.
"Booked for Safekeeping" was made for the purpose of helping police officers in their handling of emotionally disturbed persons, according to Bartlett.
