Research scientists will describe projects dealing with heart dis-ease at 7:30 p. m. Thursday at a meeting of the New Orleans Cardiovascular Society in LSU medical school.
The meeting will be in the; school's auditorium, 1542 Tulane ave.
Reports on studies done in the department of research, Veterans Administration hospital, will given by Drs. John Fe Monroe, Robert D, McAfee, and Emanuel H. Bresle
Studies under way in the LSU medical school will be described by Dr. Jack C. Greer, pathology department; Dr. Richard L. Fowler, pediatrics; Dr, Harold Me Albert, surgery, and Drs Jorge I. Martinez-Lopez, Louis Levy II, and Daniel E. Kirkley, of the LSU department of medicine and the Charity hospital heart station.

The cardiovascular society is sponsored by the Louisiana Heart Association to provide a medium | for the exchange of information between personnel and institutions engaged in heart and blood vessel research in this area.
Other institutions participating are Touro infirmary, U.S. Public Health Service hospital, Ochsner Foundation hospital, and the Tulane university school of medicine.
