Appointment of Rick Martinez
of New Orleans as editor for the coming year of "The Tiger Rag," student newspaper of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, was announced Friday.
Martinez received his bachelor and master of science degrees from Loyola University, and prior to enrolling in the
school of medicine was an instructor in physiology at LSU in New Orleans.
Paul Zehnder of Lake Charles has been elected president of the school of medicine student body.
He attended Holy Redeemer College, Oakland, Calif., for two years and completed his pre* medical training at McNeese State College in Lake Charles.
At LSU, Zehnder is a member of Phi Chi medical fraternity, employed by the Collaborative Child Development Program as a student assistant in psychiatric study of child development, and has been a clinical extern at Montelepre Memorial Hospital. PHOTO: ZEHNDER MARTINEZ
