Dr. Sheila Sherlock, professor land chairman of the Department of Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital, University of London, England, will be main speaker Thursday in the auditorium of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
She will speak at the Walton R. Akenhead Memorial Symposium on Diseases of the Liver. The symposium honors the late
Dr. Walton Akenhead, who was head of the Department of Medicine at LSU.
Dr. Gordon McHardy, clinical pf <&fessor of medicine at LSU, will also be a symposium participant. The program starts at 9 a. m.
Other program participants Will include Dr. Fred Hunter, associate professor of medicine, Tulane University School of Medicine; Dr. Edgar Hull, associate dean and' professor and
head of the LSU Department of Medicine; Dr. Ronald Welch, LSU professor of pathology; Dr.
Gordon McHardy, clinical instructor of medicine, LSU; and Dr. William Davis, chief of gas-troenterology, Ochsner Foundation.
