The Leukemia Society of Greater New Orleans will sponsor a professional education program from 9 a. m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Tulane University School of Medicine Auditorium. Principal speaker at the morning session Dr I Herbert C. Lichtman, associate professor of medicine, State University, Brooklyn, N. Y. topic will be "Recent Advances", I in Leukemia Research." A clinical session will be presented by local hematologists, including Dr. W. J. Stuckey Jr., Dr. Philip Pizzolato Dr. Charles Brown, and Dr. Don Samples.
An afternoon seminar will deal with general information on care of leukemia patients and! their families. Mrs. Virginia Hanna, executive secretary, will discuss the organizational structure of the society.
The session is open to the public.
