The Louisiana Public Health Association, Inc., will hold its 17th annual meeting April 8-10 at the Virginia Hotel, Monroe.
Dr. James R. Strain, president of the Louisiana State Board of Health and State Health Officer, will present the keynote address, "New Horizons for Us in Public Health."
Other speakers will include Dr. Robert W. Sappenfield, pro-
iessor ana neaa ot preventive medicine, Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and Dr. Robert H. Lennox, professor of child health, Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Other convention highlights will be the presentation of five awards honoring major contributors to the field of public health and the election of officers.
