Dr. Peter Graffagnino of New Orleans, director of the department of gynecology of Louisiana State university, has been appointed regent in gynecology for the state of Louisiana by the International Congress of Surgeons, Dr. T. J. Dimitry, Southern division agent for the congress, announced Friday.
Dr. Graffagnino is president of the Louisiana Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the New Orleans Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and many other medical organizations. He was graduated from the Tulane university medical school in 1912.
