TULANE G REENB ACKS-HEROES 1324
Since this picture was madt: back in September this group of youths-the youngest team Tulane has
ever had-has fought its way to a place in Southern football of which few outside of Coach Shaughnessy
and a small group of optimists, scarcely dreamed. Since that time Bergeret reported to the squad and has
been fighting like a tiger in the line; Lorio was advanced to the 'Varsity group from the reserves and has
bundantly proved his worth and, unfortunately, misfortune in the form of a broken leg, robbed Leal McLean
of the privilege of going ahead with his mates, and deprived Tulane of his services.
